Paper Description
Students will continue from MUSI220 and Soloist Studies 2 to develop their individual musical persona and instrumental command, through 1/1 lessons with their performance tutor and in working intensely with the designated pianist. As well students will continue to examine through round table seminars, various topics that relate to the demands of a soloist on the international stage. These topics will include public speaking, original creative thought and insight into musical and artistic issues of the day, how to work constructively with composers in creating new works as well as discussing the various paths to a career.
